The Giallo Database

Welcome to The Giallo Database

Hi there. If you’re here you probably already know what a giallo is, how it works, and why some of us love them so much. The point of this page is to build a comprehensive database of gialli, so those of us who are in the know can help others just finding out. Please look around and feel free to contact me if there is a gialli that you want to see mentioned here - ryan@sb-films.com

Many of the films that are being added to this database are available commercially, and when they are I’ll put up a link to where you could buy them, if you were so inclined.  Also, many gialli are available at larger Hollywood Video chains, and many independent video stores as well, so you may be able to rent some of these films.  Unfortunately, many gialli have not been given an official release in the US.  If that’s the case, we encourage you to contact the person writing the review and see about trades - the ones that aren’t available here are legal to trade (until they get an official release, so no trading Anchor Bay stuff if you don’t want to get in trouble!), so I encourage you to contact them and see if maybe you have one they don’t…

If YOU want to write about gialli you’ve seen, let me know and I will add you to the database, all I ask is you follow the format:

The Body starts with a DVD cover or Poster if available.  Then, use this template and fill in the info for your title…
